Ordering
Browse the website and select the items that you would like to order. All the items you select will be placed in your shopping cart which will calculate your total order and postage costs after you have filled your shipping information in and have chosen the delivery method. Please complete all your details including your name, address, email address, delivery, and payment details on our secure online order form.
For ALL orders, please include a MOBILE telephone contact number and email in case we need to contact you to confirm your details.
Payment
Payment is to be made in Euro.
Payment can be made in the following ways:
Online Payment – by Stripe using our online payment system with your Credit/Debit card.
NOTE! Stripe is a technology company. Its software allows individuals and businesses to receive payments over the Internet. Stripe provides the technical, fraud prevention, and banking infrastructure required to operate online payment systems.
Online Payment – by PayPal using our online payment system with your Credit/Debit card.
NOTE! You don’t need to have or sign up for a PayPal account. Just check out as the guest when you’re redirected to PayPal’s payment page. The guest section is just on the right side of PayPal’s payment page.
Colour Accuracy
All colors indicated on our website are as accurate as we can make them, however, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of color reproduction on other systems and monitors.
Delivery and Shipping
Shipping Information:
We ship our items to Ireland, and Northern Ireland using courier service and “AnPost” Standard post Service. We ship to the BILLING ADDRESS or you can choose DIFFERENT SHIPPING ADDRESS during checkout.

Shipping Cost:
Shipping in Ireland and Northern Ireland is standard 3-5 business days(Courier service 0g-15000g) fees of 7.5€.
Processing time:
Processing time: (It is not a shipping time.)
When you choose the:
Priority Order Next Working Days for an extra cost.
This means that we will prioritize your order and complete it before any other orders.
Processing time does NOT include shipping time, we ship using courier service or AnPost which usually can take 2-5 business days. Please allow a MINIMUM of 7-10 business days from the clearing of payment for your items to be handmade and then shipped.
Total Delivery Time = Processing Time(3-5 working days) + Shipping Time
Athenry Candles cannot control the delivery time of parcels sent out by An Post.
Wrapping
We wrap our candles in cellophane and tie them with a ribbon at the top.
Returns Policy
If you have any issues with your order PLEASE contact us as soon as possible so that we can resolve it! Please email, if you can’t reach us by phone as we work in noise and very often we don’t hear the telephone ringing.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES MUST BE MADE WITHIN 3 DAYS OF RECEIVING ITEM. BUYER pays return shipping costs (to return to us and reship new item).
Conditions of return
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
On occasion we make an error, please let us know as soon as you get your order so it can be fixed! After 3 days we assume all is well and there are no errors, etc. and the buyer will be responsible for replacement items and shipping.
Non-Personalised Items Return Policy:
We offer an exchange or store discount for purchase price only, for the items incorrect due to an error or faulty.
If for any reason you wish to return or exchange the item, please return it to us within 7 days of the item being received. All we ask is that you return it in its original condition (unused). Please contact us by email to arrange a refund/exchange. You will be given a Return Number (RN), which you must include with your returned parcel. This helps us to proceed with orders quicker and we cannot accept responsibility for parcels returned without an RN. Your refund will be in the form of the original method of payment. Postage charges will be refunded if goods are found to be faulty or not what you ordered.
Personalised Items Return Policy:
ALL PERSONALISED SALES ARE FINAL as they are made just for YOU! All personalized items are non-refundable and non-returnable.
The customer is responsible for all spelling mistakes, which have taken place during the ordering online form process. This includes custom color items as well! The buyer is responsible for shipping and proof of delivery on all returns, therefore, for your protection, we strongly suggest that you fully insure the package you are returning, so that you can provide the proof of delivery if necessary. If you cannot provide proof of delivery, you will not receive a refund for that return.
We take responsibility for all mistake, which has been made during the product manufacturing process.
Order Cancellation Policy:
If an order needs to be canceled PLEASE contact us within 24 hours of purchase, and a cancellation fee (15%) will be charged!
We do NOT cancel orders after 2 days.
If you purchase from “Athenry Candles”, we assume that you have READ and AGREE the Terms and Conditions.
