Processing time: (It is not a shipping time.)

We have two options:

Normal processing time: This time depends on the product which is 3-10 days

Priority Order Next Working Days: This time depends on the product
Candles: are the next day
Sand Ceremony Sets and another: 3-5 working days.

When you choose the:
Priority Order Next Working Days for an extra cost.
This means that we will prioritize your order and complete them before any other orders.

Shipping Ireland and Northern Ireland actually standard An Post 3-5 business days fees 7.5€.

Payment is to be made in Euro.
Payment can be made in the following ways:

Online Payment – by Stripe using our on-line payment system with your Credit/Debit card.
NOTE!Stripe is a technology company.Its software allows individuals and businesses to receive payments over the Internet. Stripe provides the technical, fraud prevention, and banking infrastructure required to operate on-line payment systems.

Online Payment – by PayPal using our on-line payment system with your Credit/Debit card.
NOTE! You don’t need to have or to sign up for PayPal account. Just check out as the guest when you’re redirected to PayPal’s payment page. Guest section is just on the right side of the PayPal’s payment page.

Time for delivery:

We ship using AnPost which usually can take 3-5 business days. Please allow a MINIMUM of 7-10 business days from the clearing of payment for your items to be handmade and then shipped.


Athenry Candles cannot control the delivery time of parcels sent out with An Post.

This is to avoid nuisance correspondence and allows the recipient to decide whether they wish to keep the order.

Colour Accuracy

All colours indicated on our website are as accurate as we can make them, however we cannot guarantee the accuracy of colour reproduction on other systems and monitors.

We wrap our candles in cellophane and tie it with a ribbon at the top.

Returns Policy

If you have any issues with your order PLEASE contact us as soon as possible so that we can resolve it! Please email, if you can’t reach by phone as we work in noise and very often we don’t hear the telephone ringing.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES MUST BE MADE WITHIN 3 DAYS OF RECEIVING ITEM. BUYER pays return shipping costs (to return to us and reship new item).

On occasion we make an error, please let us know as soon as you get your order so it can be fixed! After 3 days we assume all is well and there are no errors, etc. and the buyer will be responsible for replacement items and shipping.

Non-Personalised Items Return Policy:

We offer an exchange or store discount for purchase price only, for the items incorrect due to an error or faulty.

If for any reason you wish to return or exchange the item, please return it to us within 7 days of item is received. All we ask is that you return it in its original condition (unused). Please contact us by email to arrange refund/exchange. You will be given a Return Number (RN), which you must include with your returned parcel. This helps us to proceed orders quicker and we cannot accept responsibility for parcels returned without a RN. Your refund will be in the form of the original method of payment. Postage charges will be refunded if goods are found to be faulty or not what you ordered.

Personalised Items Return Policy:

ALL PERSONALISED SALES ARE FINAL as they are made just for YOU! All personalized items are NONrefundable and NONreturnable.
The customer is responsible for all spelling mistakes, which have taken place during the ordering online form process. This includes custom color items as well! The buyer is responsible for shipping and proof of delivery on all returns, therefore, for your protection, we strongly suggest that you fully insure the package you are returning, so that you could provide the proof of delivery if necessary. If you cannot provide proof of delivery, you will not receive a refund for that return.

We take responsibility for all mistake, which has been made during the product manufacturing process.

Order Cancellation Policy:

If an order needs to be cancelled PLEASE contact us 24hours of purchase, and a cancellation fee (15%) will be charged!

We do NOT cancel orders after 2 days.
